How to convert svg to png:

To perform the conversion I use my favorite software INKSCAPE, I usually do tutorials using this software because it is free, is available to everyone and is a very complete software that has nothing to envy ILLUSTRATOR, CORELDRAW or any other software for vectors.

  • Open Inkscape.
  • From Menu FILE / Open the svg image you want to convert to png.
  • Be sure to close the padlock and adjust the larger side of the image to 12 inches.
  • Select the image and from the File menu click on the option EXPORT PNG IMAGE.
  • A window with more options will open on the right side of the screen.
  • Be sure to click on the selection tab and adjust pixels to 300 dpi.
  • click on EXPORT AS and locate the folder and name under which you will save the file.
  • Finally click on the option EXPORT. Now you have your SVG converted into a PNG image with transparent background and high resolution.
