How to iron rhinestones on your clothes
If you are Starting a Rhinestone T-Shirt Business, this post is for you! Apply bling with Iron or Heat Press step by step!
- Cut your own rhinestone template with a cutting machine (cricut, silhouette, etc)
- Place the previously cut template on a firm surface. like a piece cardstock.
3. Place stones on template.
4. Using the brush, sweep the stones into the holes using a back and forth motion.
5. Brush all excess stones off the template and be sure the stones are right side up.
6. Peel white backing from the transfer tape.
7. Place transfer tape over design. Use your hand to press the tape on the stones.
8. Peel the transfer tape off of the template.
9. Place the design on garment adhesive side down. You are now ready to heat transfer your design.
10. Place the Teflon sheet or cotton pressing cloth over top of the design.
11. Set the iron on the medium or wool setting. NO STEAM! You may adjust the temperature as needed. All irons are different. If your garment is thin, place a pressing cloth or flat cardboard inside the garment.
12. Allow to cool until warm and then slowly remove the transfer paper. turn the garment inside-out, place a pressing cloth or piece of cardboard inside the garment, place a pressing cloth/Teflon sheet over design and re press garment for about 15 seconds with 5 seconds of pressure. Design is permanently bonded to the material. It can be machine washed and dried.
