Make faux leather earrings with your Cricut! The step-by-step process with stunning designs!

Supplies needed

• Faux Leather
• Earrings hooks
• Jump rings
• Cutting machine

Go to the design software of your choice, and get some amazing designs to make these earrings HERE! Size the images, for that you can do some tests, cutting on paper to see how big or how small it has to be. You can also overlap two of the designs to make another style of earrings; it will also look awesome. To make two earrings with the same design duplicate it, to keep the same size.

Go ahead and click on make it. Set the material to “tooling leather”. Place the leather face up on the mat, also as a recommendation use a strong grid mat to cut it. Don’t forget to move the wheel all the way to the right when cutting the leather.

With a small pair of scissors, you can cut the excess of the earrings.

Make sure the blade is completely clean, so it cuts perfect lines. In addition you can add some foil iron-on vinyl on the earrings in one of the layers. For this you just have to cut the design part on it, and get an easy press! set it to 255 degrees and 30 seconds. finally put the design on the faux leather and press!

Now it’s time to assemble! If you’re joining the leather pieces together, line them up, and then drill the hole, to make sure it’s completely open. 

Get some earring hooks and jump rings. Open the jump rings a bit, using some twisters. Insert the jump ring into the hole, then put the earring hook into the jump ring and finally close it again. Repeat the process with each of them, and that’s it! You can put them on display cards!
